Abstract

Tourism in the current global development with the community as the center of a very striking environment based on the river as the subject of development is supported by various other aspects, in Indonesia as the area of this research with environmental conditions. This investigation was utilizing enlightening subjective research with a contextual investigation approach as qualitative research, using interviews, library studies and documentation studies. This development of tourism with public areas as the centered on how the communities of traders with their attractions to develop the potential of public areas with indigenous local wisdom, especially the life of the river community and mobilize the community in a sensitive area depending on the level of cultural heritage, for now, the government supports like the traders of floating market, in the end, the community will feel the impact of tourism with using the public areas as tourism destination.
